This was my first order from a stranger so I was soooo stressed. This cake was a chocolate cake, buttercream frosting and MMF. It was for a 14 yr olds birthday. Her mom made a drawing of what she wanted, her daughter LOVES zebra stripes and piece signs. She only wanted a 1/4 sheet cake with the peace sign on top and zebra stripes around the side, but I went ahead and made the 6" circle. I thought it would look better for the piece sign she LOVED it and I got two more order from her :O)
This was a really fun cake to do. This is a half sheet marble cake, buttercream frosting and MMF. I made the bleachers out of Hersheys chocolate bar and mini KitKats. The towels, jerseys, ball bag and NC hat are all made from home made gum paste. The basketball I made from two Hershey kisses shaped stuck together with frosting and wrapped several times with MMF. This was my first stacked cake.. I think it turned out pretty good. They said it tasted wonderful and they loved it so I guess I did good.
