White and chocolate with buttercream/chocolate buttercream princess cake for Princess Madisyn. Crown was gumpaste, air brushed with pink sheen. Shimmer dust used on fondant balls around the base of the cakes. Fondant banner with message printed on vellum.
This was made for a princess who needed a pillow to hold her crown. It was a strawberry cake with butter cream icing. All covered with marshmallow fondant. The crown was made with fondant/gumpaste mixture and adorned with princess flowers.

Carley's 1st Birthday Cake!
This was made to match the plates, napkins and cups.
This was my first "tip" cake......I shortly realized that I prefer fondant.
This was the cake that started all of the maddness! It was my VERY FIRST CAKE!
My daughter wanted an "Old McDonald Had a Birthday", so I tried to "girl" the farm theme up as much as I could. This was the first time I had made animal figures out of fondant and it was EXHAUSTING!. So exhausting that I totally forgot the wings for the bees....oh well :) My daughter adored the cake and that's what really mattered.
I wanted to make something special for my mother's 64th birthday. Being the stylish gal she is, I borrowed one of her favorite pairs of shoes and that became my inspiration for the cake. Every girl needs a purse to match her shoes, so I added her a purse. This was the first time that I "painted" the fondant and used "shimmer" to give it that shine. The actual cake was a red velvet to keep with the theme.
