I made this cake for a school cakewalk. This was my first "public" cake. It was a three layer cake, all vanilla. I colored the batter three different colors so when the cake was cut it would be very colorful. I used pink, purple and teal. Frosted in BC.
I got some new neon food colors I wanted to try out. They are not as bright as I had hoped.
I made this cake for my son's 1st birthday. I've only been decorating for 3 months and I still have a lot to learn! I am open to constructive criticism. The bottom layer is chocolate, middle is vanilla and the cupcake is strawberry. Buttercream frosting and covered in MMF. The accents are gumpaste. I got the idea and inspiration from other cakes on CC, so thank you!
