Graduation Goodbye!

This graduate was traveling from California to Florida to start his new life. I designed a piece of luggage with travel stickers. The "stickers" were hand painted to look like all the things he liked to do in both states. Fondant covered cake with sculpted handle, luggage tag, and old fashioned travel "stickers". When it was all done, everyone at the party thought that was covered in leather... what a blast to make.

Simple Soccer Cake

One of the simpler cakes I have done in ages. I was so thankful to have a break from wedding cakes for a bit and now I remember how much fun it is to do these cakes! Butter cream icing, ball pan on top with star tip.

Lvn Graduation

Fondant nurses bag on top of fondant covered base. Fondant stethoscope on side of cake. I wasn't too sure about this one, but everyone at the party loved it!!!

this wedding cake was the cake from Hades!!! Nothing went the way it was supposed to with this one... I had to cover the 6 in. twice. Then the wedding was an outside wedding (with no tent) and it rained! The bride wanted cream cheese frosting under marshmallow fondant. Gumpaste antique roses and leaves... the scrolls are handpainted champagne colored dust with Cocoa dust accents. I know I didn't charge enough for this one. Glad it is over now... :)

Oops

This cake is covered in fondant with fondant cutouts applied and fondant leaves. The picture flash reflected off the silver base and made some weird shadows... sorry for the pic quality. Still working on the photography.
