This was an unusual request but one with alot of meaning behind it...lol!! A wheel of fortune smash cake. The wheel actually spins and when lifted off the top of the cake....there is a message for the birthday boy on top of the buttercream.

This was my first attempt at a 3D cake.....overall....pretty simple.....just very time consuming doing all the fur!! Only thing I would suggest would be to do the nose in styrofoam next time and cover it with fondant. The nose was very heavy and was slowly closing the mouth a little. I got my inspiration for this cake from Lilrev's photo of Elmo....thanks lilrev....=-)
