Thanks to Sealey and Tami's great tutoral they made it to the cake. I put the dust on the outside because it didn't make it into the gel. Next time i am going to add the liquid color to the gel so that it has more coverage that is why I painted them with liquid luster dustt to get coverage.

this is buttercream with fondant accents for a very victorian wedding. yes victorian. held in her fathers 200 yr old victorian mansion and using her great great grandmothers top piece that i refused to put on the cake because I was afraid it would be broken. so we put it displayed on the table by the cake. But the bride wanted a cake that would pop amoung all the antiques. I think she nailed it.
this cake was for a bride didn't want a big wedding and couldnt afford even a small wedding but the group who ordered the cake wanted her to have something nice to remember her special day. Her favorite color was pink and she collected figurines. they let me know that she was overwhelmed people would do this for her. Wish I would have known sooner would have helped out getting her a small reception together with her friends. This was just a few days before they went to the city hall to get married. .
this cake was for a wedding held for fall halloween. The decorations for ths wedding were fantastic. a hundred pumpkins and straw, antique carriages i wish i could post the venu pictures that i took because i couldn't believe what they halled to that site. I think you can tell by the way they decorated the cake table what the rest of the reception looked like.. This in a building at our county fairgrounds. You never would have guessed where you were once you opened the door to come in. They even built a fancy foyer to walk in from the outside. Each of these peoples weddings for there daughters got bigger and better.. this was number 3 out of 5
they didn't want anything over the top for this older gentleman. They just said he liked chocolate. Leaves are from cocopan dark and the cake is a double chocolate fudge white buttercream

100 midnight roses on this cake. The bride saw my white rose cake and wanted it done in red. The ribbon on the cake was supplied by the brides mom and was quite elegant on the cake. They added the monogram on the top
Holiday cake .. beautiful snowflakes on the cake, a bow left for the cake by the brides mom, and the worst weather in the world to get this cake to the hall. What is a normal 15 minute trip took us in an ice storm 45 minutes. Only to find the bridal party doing donuts with there cars in the parking lot (too much to drink already).. I don't know how the reception went. The caterer wasn't there yet the dj wasn 't there yet and the reception was to start in less than an hour. I know if I didn't have to go out in that weather I wouldn't have been out. snow ok, Ice storms not so much.
this cae isn't a wedding cake it was made for a corporate christmas party they wanted something big and to match the Cleveland Zoo Rainforest where the event was held. I think it worked .
this is tells what it is, wanted something both holiday and yet to celebrate a milestone birthday. Birthday was Christmas Day. They loved it. I normaly don't put little things on cakes but this happy christmas snowman just seemed to be perfect for the occasion.
bride wanted lots of roses...there are 100 eskimo white roses on this cake. (i think that was the name they told me when I ordered them.) Every tier is a different flavor.
this was a shower cake ordered by the brides best friend. All I was told was lots of white roses,,, they loved it. All fresh buttercream.
designed by the bride..8# of dark chocolate malted milk balls had to be special ordered for this western theme cake. It does sit level it is just the second level of malted milk balls that my partner put on the cake going around.. didnt notice until took picture. And to top it off.. bride doesn't even like chocolate.
everything in this wedding were these colors.. everything. But the room was beautiful it all came together.
Cake has tripple chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling, chocolate ganache frosting and monogramed chocolate pieces on top.
