Black and white cupcake tower for a wedding cocktail party. Theme echos the couple's wedding invitations, which were a fun, modern pattern of black and white shapes. Used a little pink for added pop. Hi all. This was my first official wedding cake for a party of 75! We based the design on their wedding invites which were chartreause green roses on white with black trim. Im pretty pleased with the results. I tried to make my own rose stencil but ran into trouble so I used a store bought one instead. Brush embroidery in Royal Icing. Flowers are gum paste. A big thanks to Mooj for the funny, funny idea. I made this for a 40th birthday party. Used two 10" rounds carved into a pillow. Used fondant strips under the fondant covering to make the creases and side seam. Hand painted the text using a stencil. Thanks for looking!

This is one layer of chocolate cake made to look like an apple pie. Used fondant for the crrust and colored it with piping gel to make it look baked. Made with the spaghetti and meatball cake for a cake meal. Thanks for looking!
Had a lot of fun making this for my husband's birthday. Used my pasta roller to make the spaghetti out of fondant. Meatballs are rice crispy treats covered in fondant. The sauce was a mixture of royal icing and piping gel. I cut up pieces of red fondant to mix in to make the sauce appear chunky. A sprinkle of green and white to look like oregano and cheese. Thank you for the idea from other CCers.
I made this for a good friend's surprise 40th birthday party. She likes greens and browns, so I made brown gum paste roses. I had some structural issues because my cake turned out too soft- but I hope the placement of the roses helped cover any flaws!!! Thanks for taking a look.

This was my first official cake order- and I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out! The cake was for a bridal shower for a wedding that is being held in an apple orchard next month. So I we decided on an autumn theme with gum paste apples and fall foliage. Cake was a vanilla cake with raspberry filling and vanilla frosting- fondant with gum paste foliage and flowers.

I was inspired by many other CC's versions posted- thank you all! I'm really happy with how cute this turned out! Its fondant with 50/50 decorations and royal icing clouds. Cow and moon are attached with lollypop sticks and royal icing. It was made for a friend's shower whose baby is of unknown sex, so I didn't want the whole cake to be in sky blues, so I added the pink tier to look like a sunset. I added luster dust to make the whole thing sparkle.
