My First Wedding Cake
Buttercream frosting. Black fondant ribbon, gumpaste roses and leaves. Lots to learn from this cake!!! #1....Never travel a cake on your lap!!! LOL! Had a little damage to the bottom tier when I arrived at my destination, had to repair the best I could. Thank you Edna for your advice!

Scrapbook 40Th Anniversary
I had to put a 40th Anniversary along with the husbands 60th Birthday all on one cake. So I seen other scrapbook cakes and thought this would be perfect to put the two celebrations on one cake. All buttercream with edible images for the pages. Some scroll piping done on top and bottom of pages.

Summer Fun
I was given a picture similar to this cake and was asked to make it. It was a lot of fun to make. 8" on the bottom and 6" top tier. The border was made by a pearl mold. Star and daisies on the wires were attached by heating the wire with a lighter first and then insert the star. It instantly sticks to the wire without sliding down.

Camo Wedding
6",9" & 12" tiers. Top and bottom tiers vailla WASC with vanilla cream filling and the middle tier chocolate WASC with chocolate mousse. Not my favorite cake but this is what she requested. Gumpaste leaves. The fondant is not supposed to be smooth, the picture of this cake she gave me had cuts and lines going all though it. Again not my favorite cake :( She did love it though! :)

Basket Of Flowers
I must say, I love this cake, tee hee. I am so proud how it turned out. It was for my grandmother and she did not want to cut it! I found a picture of this cake on here and I loved it so much I had to make it! This idea came from mandyscakesandcandy....thank you for the inspiration! The top tier is the basketweave done with buttercream and the bottom tier is MMF. French Vanilla cake with Strawberry cream filling.

Shopping Day
First time attempting a purse cake. It didn't take that long to decorate. I used some scroll imprints to accent it. The cake started to lean a little toward the front but I think it's because it was heavier in the front with more decorations. My mom absolutely LOVED it, she went head over heals!

Hawaiian Breeze
I am proud of this cake because this is my first time making a scene cake without using an edible image :) Everything is buttercream except for the seashells, starfish and flip flops. I looked at a lot of the hawaiian cakes and wondered how I could make the sunset colors without an air brush or wilton color mist.....I guess I can do it!

Barbie Thumbelina
Fondant covered WASC. I tried to capture little details from the movie, like the fusia colored flower bush that the twiler bees live behind. The little twig that the little girl planted with little blue flowers on, later the twiler bees spread their magic dust on it and made it grow into a big beautiful tree with blue flowers. Well you'll have to watch the movie to understand, lol. I'm not great at doing faces but she resembles Thumbelina by her wings, dress and hair. I enjoyed doing this cake!

Massey Ferguson Tractor
This is my first attempt at a 3D cake! Wow....hard work! I used the WASC recipe. The tractor is fondant and the sheet cake is buttercream. The large tires are cake (should of used RKT) and the small ones are made from RKT. Dirt pile is cake covered in graham crumbs, oreo crumbs and brown sugar. TFL
