This was practicing with the new Wilton Course III. Except for the pan being round and not having the ribbon all around it, it's the Lesson 2 cake!
This was my first buttercream transfer. It was taken from a napkin. I really wanted to do the BCT so I did. I should've just freehanded the design!
This was for my husband's birthday. He only likes chocolate so I made the whole lion with chocolate buttercream.
This was for my husband's birthday one year. Just for the fun of it. I thought I'd make it look like our dog...WAY too much chocolate though. Oh well. It was cute and yummy of course!
This was for my playgroup's birthday party celebration. All the kids had birthdays within about a 6-week span. Little did I know the names would melt on the gel balloons!
This was my first pan I bought. I've probably made 5 or 6 of this cake at least- one for every Easter! It's one of my favorites!
This was just for fun. A family cake. Who doesn't love Rudolph though???
This is my son's 1st birthday cake. I'd just finished Course I so I used the figure piped clowns. Except for my printing, I think it turned out pretty well!
This is the old Course III fondant cake. You'd think I have a thing for clowns....Little did I know it was in the course when I made the others!
I did this in Course I. I'd already done a ton of star tip cakes, so this was a breeze! I'd just bought the star pan and wanted to do something fun with it and had my son's circus birthday coming up. I found the idea on Wilton's site.
This was for my son's 1st birthday. I used gumballs for the balls and nose. Had I known how big they'd look, I'd have gone smaller...The colors on the clown matched the napkins and plates. It was a circus theme party.
This was for my nephew's 2nd birthday. I love that fur tip!!!
This was for my son's 2nd birthday. I could not get my icing red enough so I ended up buying some premade stuff at the grocery store. It was way too thick and would not thin well so I ended up with a lot if crumbs!
This was for my son's 2nd birthday. His eyes look kind of psycho! I was running out of time and had those colors already made up!
My 1st attempt with rolled buttercream (YUM). This was for a friend'd brother. I got the idea from another website though.
