This is my first stacked/wedding cake. WASC cake with buttercream. Made this for my nephew's wedding tomorrow! Lot's of mistakes, but who's counting?
This is my first time using fondant. Made the MMF and marblized it. I was very happy with the marbling. I also made the Duff roses out of MMF. The cake is cookies and cream, with bc filling.
I did this cake for my 9 year old daughter's end of season cake. Marble cake with bc filling, with red and black (team colors) MMF ball border. Put edible image of the team photo on it. Kids and parents went crazy over it!!
This is a cake I threw together last night in 30 minutes. The cake is marble, with a spicy chocolate ganache filling. My cousin called and asked if I could throw one together, because it was her anniversary. I just used some left-over fondant roses, and some ribbon and a silk flower I already had. I had a lovely ceramic heart that said "love", so I put that on top. I wish I could learn how to do the faux-fondant effect with the buttercream!!
