I made this for my DS kindergarten graduation party. Since the name of the school had "apple" in it, I wanted to do an apple tree with all of the graduating kindergartners name on it. I had a LOT of fun with this. My 1st tree and pretty proud of it. Half of the cake was chocolate with cookies 'n cream and the other half was white with cookies 'n cream. All covered in fondant with fondant accents, including hanging apples. The tree was done with RKT covered in fondant. Basket in RKT covered in fondant. TFL
This was a lot of first timers for me (structure, RKT, and 45 minute delivery travel). I feel like I was just on the Ultimate Cake Off! Each letter was @ 10" high. The top A was styrofoam. The L and E were red velvet, oreo filling, fondant. X and bottom E were RKT with fondant. Bottom base cake was red velvet, oreo filling, and fondant. I put the designs on the sides since I didn't want to distract from the shape of the letters. We also used the sketch of the cake on cookies for the party favors. TFL.

This is a display cake I made for a couple of events coming up. I wanted to display some mini cakes as well. 4" and 2" round, fondant, gumpaste flower and RI accents. TFL
This was a 4 tiered cake with Chocolate cake, cookies 'n cream filling, and chocolate fondant/buttercream fondant. I made the mask from gumpaste and piped in black royal icing and it has fabric ribbons so she could have it as a keepsake. I am very pleased with the way the mask came out. It was my first time doing scroll work and I was quite nervous. TFL
I can't believe I made these! I took Jennifer Dontz's class and it was AMAZING!!! I learned to make the Cymbidium Orchid, Moth Orchid, Bittersweet Berries, Hypericum Berries, Gerbera Daisy, and Casablanca Lily. I am SO psyched and would recommend her class to everyone!
This was a little 'family' cake for a 5 yr old. She was thrilled to be able to design her own cake. :) Lemon cake, lemon curd and white chocolate ganache, IMBC, hand painted gumpaste butterflies. TFL
This is for a Dew Lover - layers of lemon cake, Mountain Dew cake, and white cake with limoncello BC, covered in fondant. Logo is EI with RI piped (messily) around logo. The woman was thrilled and kept hugging me :) Made me feel good, of course. TFL
