Halloween Topsy Turvey
Giant Halloween Birthday cake for multiple co-workers (I do the monthly birthday cake at work). 12 x 6 and 8 x 6, it lasted 3 days at my office! First time doing a TT cake, used the circle method, was very easy to assemble. Butter cream icing, fondant stripes and Halloween cut-outs, fondant/gum paste pumpkin topper. Wires are in a fondant/gum paste mix inside a large bubble tea straw!

Gumpaste Shoe Cake
Girlfriend is having a 'sandals and sangria' party and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to try a gum paste shoe. I used the template from the gallery, had some trouble with the base support sliding around as the gum paste was drying so there's a crack, but I'm pretty happy for my first attempt.

Go Meat Birthday Cake
This is for my friend's dad's surprise 60th birthday. He LOVES the Hillshire Farms commercials that end with "Go Meat" so my friend wanted a grill cake with the words Go Meat on it as well as the birthday message. My first time making anything out of fondant (hotdogs) and RKT (burger) covered with fondant. I loved making this cake!

Chocolate Daisy Cake
Cake for my cousin's surprise 50th birthday. 2-12" layers of doctored chocolate mix with cookies and creme filling. RI daisies. My first time putting RI flowers on a non-class cake. Idea came from the end of the Wilton Course II book, but used chocolate instead of light blue buttercream. Some of the RI daisies broke in transport, but overall, I'm really happy with how this cake turned out!

Final Cake From Wilton Course 2
This is my basket weave cake from Wilton course 2. For those of you familiar with the class/cake, my birds stuck together then shattered into a kazillion pieces the last night. The colors are a little off, but I can't complain because my wonderful DH mixed them for me!
