White And Midnight Blue Ribbon Wrapped Cake With Diamantes And Figures
This is my first wedding cake of more than 2 tiers that was for someone other than myself! It is decorated in Ivory fondant and midnight blue ribbon with diamantes, a handmade beaded swarkovski crystal topper and gumpaste bride and groom made using aine2's directions... only problem was with the black on the grooms eyes... bit heavy but not a lot that could be done about it! Most nerve racking cake ever as it turned out very tall! Hope you like it!

Hairdresser Cake
This is a cake I made for a recently qualified hairdresser when she turned 21. the cakes are 8 inch and 5 inch and all the models, the scissors, hair straighteners and hair grips are made out of fondant and gum trag. The hair grips were a nightmare as the teeth kept breaking! but worked out ok in the end!

Cinderellas Glass Slipper
This is the glass slipper that went with my cinderella cake posted yesterday, not a great pic of the slipper as it was rather glittery and had reflected the light a bit. The cake was a 6 inch pillow cake with gumpaste slipper and fondant rope. This was my first ever gumpaste shoe made using the shoe tutorial here on CC! The cake itself turned out a bit square, but it was made as an extra cake for extra portions so I didn't want to carve away too much cake!

Cinderellas Carriage
This is a cake modelled on Cinderellas Carriage, made out of the 6 inch ball pan. Cinderella Gus and Jaq are made out of gumpaste. This cake was ordered along with the cinderellas slipper that is also in my photos (or will be in a few minutes once I have uploaded it) as the 6 inch ball pan was not enough cake! The whole carriage was covered in a lustre spray to make it really glittery!

Lion Cake
Cake for a 2nd Birthday for a little boy who apparently LOVES lions! The oniginal design was from the London Cake co. but mine I think is a bit more cartoony. The cake was a Vanilla Madeira with vanilla buttercream and strawberry Jam. It was cut from an 11 inch round with some of the offcuites used to make the mane larger at the tips. I loved doing this cake and it has to be one of my favourites so far.

Dolls House Birthday Cake
Hi this is a cake that I wrote in the forums asking for ideas, it was for a lady who got a dolls house for her birthday. Initially I wanted to do a 3d dolls house but just didn't have the time to fit in all the extra work. So I decided to do a 9 inch square chocolate cake with a mini edible dolls house on the top - yes the dolls house is completely edible! I made it with rice crispy treats and fondant covered in an edible image which I cut out. The doors are made using the edible image stuck to some gumpaste for stability. Overall I was happy with the cake, it was simple but grown up which is good as it was for an adult.

Animal Theme Baby Cakes
These were a gift for a friend after she had her baby boy, I had to make 2 as her husband always eats all the cake and this way they have one each! Just something simple but cute - her 'baby theme' was jungle/safari animals etc! (Edited - These cakes are each 5" square)...........For those of you that are interested I started a thread with the template for the giraffe attached, its in the cake decorating forum and is titled 'Giraffe and Zebra Baby Cakes....template here...'
