After making several cakes for a coworker, her 24 year old brother complained that he had never gotten a "special birthday cake". So he got all his combined - Spiderman with his web catching Spongebob, Barney, and Batman. 2 round chocolate layers, 2 square layers of white, characters are RI, buttercream frosting. City encircling the base with black web covering it all.

Cake was pineapple upside down cake - the upside down parts became the center filling with one cake flipped over on the other. BC frosting and decorations. Decorations lasted longer than I thought they would with all the pineapple acid, but it was eaten so fast it didn't have time to disintegrate!!
