My second attempt at fondant. Got the idea from Debbie Brown's Easy Party Cakes. I'm not sure about the easy part but it was fun to make.
This was for my son's 7th birthday. It was a combination of ideas I saw on this site plus Debbie Brown's Easy Party Cakes book. My son loved it and it was so much fun to make! Cake is covered in BC, map & whip are fondant, sand is graham wafer crumbs, Indy figure, snakes & gold chest are toys. TFL!
My dh's 40th birthday cake. My first time modeling anything with fondant (kayak). Trees are ice cream cones & royal icing. It was a lot of fun to see this one come together. TFL!
This is for a friend's daughter's 3rd birthday. She wanted a pink cake so I made a white cake & added strawberry puree. I made the turtle with the Pampered Chef batter bowl, head, arms & tail are RKT, all buttercream icing with RI flowers & butterfly.
