Six Layer Raspberry-Laced Vanilla Cake covered in a Dark Chocolate Ganache. Grass was made with royal icing. Giraffe is a small plush toy.

Summer Wedding Cake

This was my first wedding cake ever. It took a lot of work. It was an outside wedding, and I was afraid it was going to melt. I made the cake on site, which was a good thing since we set up the rest of the wedding three times! This was frosted in buttercream icing with edible pearls. Real flowers and greenery were used to decorate. I also used a diamond design in the side. (More greenery was used to hide the flower holder on the top of the cake.)
