Pudding Cake
The ladies at our church make hundreds of fruit cakes every year and I bought some of them to decorate and give as Christmas gifts. Unfortunately when I took this one out of the packet it was lopsided and looked like a pudding!! So that's what I decorated it as!! 6inch rich fruit cake covered with fondant! BTW...The cakes are very very yummy!

Aussie Bush Birthday View 1
Rich fruit cake. Painted with coffee. Sugarpaste gumleaves, gumnuts, campfire with billy and camp oven, swag boots hat and log! The birthday message is painted on what is supposed to be a sheet of corrugated iron!! lol The client was going to supply a windmill to go on top but couldn't find one...I very quickly filled in the gap with gum leaves and gumnuts. The recipient of this cake is a lady who was born in the area and has spent most of her life living on cattle stations and stock camps. I have painted scenes of where she lived and worked To get the full effect see all four photos.

Andrew The Builder Birthday Cake
Little cake made in 2 hours tonight. I had the cake in the freezer and took it out when I got home from work...ganached it and put it in the fridge while I finished my other cake. Then threw it together in 2 hours!! The usual cherry ripe mud cake!! Made for a workmate's husband who is a builder.
