Twin Boys Baby Shower Present Cake
White cake with buttercream icing, covered in fondant. The box lid is candy clay, my first time making/using candy clay. Very each to use. I cut out the pieces and then let them dry a little for a day. Attached each piece with melted chocolate. Used diamond patchwork cutter to mark the sides of the bottom of the box. Candy clay bow and ribbons. Gumpaste/fondant 50/50 booties. Candy clay shoe strings.

Spring Birthday Cake
Cakes done for a 60th "Spring" Birthday. 16" white double layer cake, 2- white and 2 chocolate 10" double layer cakes. Buttercream icing. 50/50 gumpaste/mmf flowers and leaves. First time doing flowers ever! Some of the flowers I did are hydrangas, gerberas, daisies, roses, & cala lilys. I didn't have very many cutters so most is hand done. For the sides, I used the wilton press scroll and piped dots on the outlines. The dots took forever but was well worth the time and effort.

Sweet 16 Hearts
I tried topsy turvy whimsical cake but it didn't work out very well. All mmf with some tylose powder for the curlies and the hearts on top with wires. Black lines are royal icing. I need to learn how to do these better. I didn't account for the cutting down the sides and bottom of the cake so each layer didn't fit in the holes, the holes were too big. Learn from my mistakes!! I only did 2 layers, 16, 10, 6 inch cakes. Inspired by splash2splat - hers is way better than mine!

Blue And Brown Baby Shower Cake
The lady I did the cake for wanted patches on the bottom and stripes on top. All blues and browns, with booties on the top. This is what I came up with. 10" white cake, 8" chocolate cake. All mmf. I used patchwork cutters diamonds to mark the fondant then I cut out each color diamonds and put them on the cake in place. Very time consuming but I think it turned out okay. The booties I used the cutter but still need to practice those.

Valentines Cookie Bouquet
29 cookies- that was alot in one bouquet. I used a flower pot from the craft store and painted it. I should have used a bigger one! Oh well, each cookie was fun to make. I used impression mats on some, stencils on some, impressions and traced with royal icing. NFSC with mmf and royal icing.

Maxine Cake
All buttercream icing. Used my projector to trace image and airbrushed on the colors. I am still learning how to use the airbrush, I can't quite get the hang of it yet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! A big thanks to sweetcakes for the idea. Here is the original cake that I was trying to copy- of course hers looks much better! http://www.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=657213

Zebra Print With Pink Accents
Marshmallow fondant with pink buttercream. Zebra print. For this I indented a square where I wanted to stop the print. Put the black stripes up to that line and stopped. I outlined the square in pink buttercream shells. Turned out pretty well. Want to give credit where credit is due. I copied the idea from sweetcakes..... here is her cake http://www.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=1212040

Castle Cake
I totally copied someone else's picture and changed a few things on this cake. I used mmf on this whole cake. I covered styrafoam pieces for the castle itself. I let them dry for a few days, (should have used gumpaste! live and learn). I used royal icing for the flowers on the castle and for attaching ribbon bows. I used a diamon impression mat on the cake and a cobblestone impression clay mat for the castle.

Zebra And Pink
I made this cake for a graduation cake. Combo of others here on cc's ideas. The top is a 8" double layer white cake. Iced in buttercream and marhsmallow fondant. The bows are made out of 50/50 mmf gumpaste. The shoe was made using the pattern here on cc and gumpaste/mmf mixture. The cupcakes were chocolate with buttercream and mmf.

Boxes And Bows
Okay with ALOT of help from you all (especially mascrupp) I finally finished this baby shower cake. The bottom cake was 11x15 and the smaller was 10x10. Here is what I did (hope this helps someone else out): Cake is white cake with buttercream icing covered in marshmallow fondant. Box lid: I used foam core board and cut the pieces the size I wanted, taped them together, put some royal icing on the boards and covered with mmf. Bows: I used tons of tutorials for these- The large full bow, I used mmf and white chocolate melts. I just kept adding until it was full and looked decent. Smaller bow: mmf used a video and copied it. Covered cake board: I need to figure out a better way to do this, but I covered it with tin foil, spread royal icing on and then covered with mmf. I was going to attach ribbon around sides but it wouldn't stick- any suggestions? I was afraid royal icing would soak through the ribbon- Booties- I just formed these with mmf and tried to follow pictures. Tied a ribbon around the top of them. If I missed anything or if I can help anyone let me know.
