SpongeBob, under the sea themed first birthday cake. BC iced, decorations are MMF/gumpaste, except for the SpongeBob characters, which are toys. Bottom layer was a dummy. Top layer pineapple was removed for the smash cake.
Topsy Turvy in pink and black for a friend's daughter that was turning 16. Buttercream with MMF/Gumpste decor. Cupcake for the very top. This is my third topsy turvy and the most challening one yet. It almost ended up on the floor! But, in the end, I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Had a last minute request for a purse cake for a 21st birthday. Decided to only try a 2-D one. Made a 9x13 sheet cake, cut in half and stacked, then carved out the purse shape. All MMF except for the K, which my DH cut out of foamcore for me and then I covered it with MMF.
First time doing a paisley cake. I wasn't very thrilled on how it turned out, but it was good practice.
Seashells Cake covered in MMF. Candy seashells that I airbrushed. Crushed vanilla wafers/brown sugar for the sand. 6" and 8" square.
9" and 6" buttercream with MMF dots to match the invitations and party decorations. "1" shaped smash cake to match that my 2 year old son decided to try to smash before we even got to the party!
My son's second birthday cake! Elmo and Cookie Monster. Buttercream with fondant accents. Cake was chocolate fudge cake layered with dark chocolate filling and chocolate chip cookie dough filling. I had a lot of fun making this one and he loved it! Inspired by norfred's sesame street cake.
So, the plan for the top of this cake fell apart. Literally! It was supposed to be a frozen buttercream transfer of Jessie's face....but both transfers I made fell apart. Better luck next time. It's all buttercream excpet for MMF cow print. Still happy with how it turned out. It's for a litle girl turning 3. Little Jessie figures is a toy I ran out and got at the last minute so at least Jessie was on there someway!

All MMF, except cornelli lace BC piping. Lid is styrogoam. My first attempt to steam a cake! Got a little carried away and had some water droplets, but overall I was pleased with how it all turned out.

My first attempt at Cherry Blossoms. Made for a valentine's dinner at our church. Chocoloate fudge cake on bottom tier, vanilla top tier, white chocolate buttercream.
Red Velvet Cake, Cream Cheese frosting. Red Sugar on top. Didn't turn out exactly like I wanted it to.
