I used the Wilton Enchanted Castle Pan but did my own colors to reflect what my birthday girl wanted- Barbie Diamond Dream Castle Colors. I added some sparkles to the peaks then made matching cupcakes by stripping my bag. I thought I'd post this for fun, even though it's a Wilton design :-)
This is my final cake for Wilton course: fondant and gumpaste! I did a white fondant covered cake with a red fondant ruffle and red fondant ribbon. I made a red favor box with yellow and red gumpaste daisies for accents.
I saw these cupcakes on the Wilton Website and taylored them to fit the 2009 Superbowl Teams for a superbowl party. They took a long time because of all the detail but turned out cute so I thought I would post them. Thank you Wilton for the great idea!
This is a strawberry vanilla swirl cake decorated in buttercream. The "30", "happy birthday" banner, and Bronco logo are all make out of fondant and decorated with buttercream.
This is my first fondant cake learned today in class. I did a pattern press to cover the cake then did the draping and flowers with pale blue gum paste/fondant blend.
This is my final cake in Wilton Course Two. I did the basketweave but left off all of the royal icing flowers and went with some holly and berries for Christmas.
