Ugh. I placed this cake on a single cardboard that was too small (I couldn't fit a bottom border). I had a terrible time trying to get the corners square on this cake. The buttercream is lumpy and everything is lopsided! Lots of empty space. Just a weird looking cake.
Words can not express how I feel about this cake... my first one. Top tier isn't centered. Lumpy buttercream. Wretched drop flowers in 80s-bridal-shower colors. (Flowers were positioned to hide crumbs... this was before I heard of a crumb coat.) Peaks on my dot border. Oh the humanity!
