Tori's Baby Shower Cake
This was the cake I made for my daughter's baby shower. The bottom tier is a blue velvet cake with a white chocolate mousse filling, the top tier was a lemon cake with lemon curd filling. I had so much fun making this cake. The base design came from Pintrest but could not find the original cake artist info, so if you recognize the basic design and it is yours let me know so I can give you props! I however used dots instead of stripes (the original design had stripes) And I made the baby buggies bigger.

Slot machine cake inspired by a cake I found on here by BernieBeaver. It was small I used four 6" x 2" square chocolate cakes stacked to start then carved and used the excess cake to make the coin drop drawer. My daughter actually free handed the "777" dial on a sugar sheet with edible ink markers and also freehanded the Viva Las Vegas sign. I mounted tte vegas sign on a gumpaste plaque and used fondant pearls to outline the sign to look like the lights around it.

Escobar Grooms Cake
Texas Tech baseball cap. German choc cake filled with coconut caramel pecan icing. Crumb iced with dark chocolate ganache and iced with buttercream then covered with black fondant. The TT logo was cut freehanded. I cut and pieced together every little red and black piece to recreate the logo. Talk about a crazy puzzle to complete...LOL!

Windmill
My first "extreme" cake. Yes, the windmill turned via a tiny hobby motor. Used a volume control switch to adjust the speed of the motor and it ran on one AA battery. Cake was Dk. Choc., Fr. Van., Strawberry & Strawberry Banana. So a cake version of the banana split. Iced with BC, air brushed and piped decor, Windmill made from modeling chocolate painted to look like cedar. Gumpaste daisies and bc bluebonnets, grass & leaves. Chocolate rocks. The windmill was a plan b windmill as the original gumpaste windmill broke while attaching it to the motor and was unrepairable due to time constraints, so I painted an 8 inch cake board with royal icing then after it dried painted it with gel food color to make it look like wood. The client loved it! It was a 360 design

Elegance Divine
This is a dummy cake I did for a bridal fair. This wasn't the original design. This design just basically developed on it own. I originally was going to do all white tiers standard stack with scroll work cascading down the front from small to large as it reached the bottom. But I realized I didn't have enough fondant in white but I did have black fondant so I covered 3 in white and 2 in black. Then I decided I wanted to offset the stack. Again however with the front being the typical front of a more graduated stair step effect. But I left the room and walked back in and saw the cake from the side angle showing one side as a stair step and the other as a straight tower effect. I really liked that so decided to make that the front. Then I originally was going to hand paint the scrolls but while looking for something else in my equipment drawers I came across a scroll stencil I have for scrapbooking. So I decided to use it with royal icing instead. Then I added silk flowers (mainly because I was out of time to do gumpaste flowers) and this was the end result. If I sell this design I will use gumpaste flowers if the bride wishes that or can still use silks if they prefer, or real flowers too.

Fondarific white wedding buttercream flavored fondant.

Briar Rose Cake
Basic 4 tier buttercream cake with 6 gumpaste briar roses painted sienna colored with gold luster dust accenting. Cake was dk. choc on bottom & top tier and fr. van on middle two tiers. There is no fondant on this cake and I do not use a crusting BC. I use a meringue based BC with real butter so it never crusts. It is possible to get your cakes totally smooth with this icing just takes a bit longer ;)

My Boss's Semi-Retirement Cake
Okay so this isn't the best or most creative cake I have done but I was so swamped that weekend and this one was a freebee so it got put on the back burner so to speak. 12" square cake in my signature Dk. Choc with Raspberry filling, covered edges in ganache. Top tier was Yellow cake with raspberry filling. Funny story as to why the top is tan...LOL! I was piping the message in ganache and I squeezed just a little too hard at one point and blew the tip right out of the bag, ganache squirted in a big blob all over the top, so I scooped up as much as I could, scraped off the border and re-iced, re-wrote, and re-bordered the top tier. I had left over cupcakes from our dance studio's open house the night before so I used them to help decorate the cake. The cuppies were Italian cream with cream cheese icing, and red velvet filled with cream cheese icing then the tops dipped in the ganache some cuppies were garnished with a cherry on top, some with red sanding sugar, and some with multi-colored Non-peirels (sp?) It was a really quick cake to build and decorate. I think it took me maybe 45 min. from start to finish...I was rushed for time so I kicked into grocery store mode of speed...LOL!

Angeline's Cakes
Wedding and Grooms Cake Firefighter theme. Each tier was a different flavor, and each of the 6 8" rounds at the base were a different flavor. This cake was for one of my former dance students who married a Houston Firefighter. The bridal cake was in all buttercream but had fondant pearls and a gumpaste calalilly garland around the second tier. The colors are Navy blue and silver, and yes the bows are made from ribbion and I made each one by hand. ( I love my bowdini...LOL)
