Blackhawk Helicopter Cake With Army Paratrooper Figure
I was asked to make this cake for my husbands Hail & Fairwell party before he left his current paratrooper unit for a new unit. The cake was a huge hit as all the guys at the party were pilots and paratroopers. My husband loved it and the best part was that I was able to hide it from him until the party.

Journey To Retirement Cake
I made this cake for my father and mother's retirement party. It was a 3 tier cake with fondant figures showing their life together starting from their first date at the drive in movies through 3 children, their careers and grandchildren. They loved the cake. Unfortunately, it was about 85 degrees that day with 90% humdity, so by the time we took pictures the figures had started to melt. I should have taken the pictures earlier in the day!

Elmo Cake
I made this 3 tier cake for my nephew who was turning two. It was a bit of a challenge because I had to make the cake in my sister's kitchen when I was visiting her in Atlanta. The bottom tier is vanilla cake, the second tier is chocolate cake. The car was made out of vanilla cake and Elmo is made out of rice krispy treats. All of the figures on the cake were made out of fondant. My 10 year old niece helped me make the cake, which was lots of fun.

Star Wars X-Wing
I made this cake for my god child's 5th Birthday. He requested that the X-Wing appear to be flying. My husband helped me build a base for the cake. It was a bit of a challenge because I needed to decorate the under side of the cake first, then flip the base over to decorate the top. He was so excited when he saw the cake. I also made a few of his favorite star wars figures out of fondant to sit next to the cake.

Scrabble Fun
My mother-in-law and sister-in-law live 1 mile from apart and play scrabble every day. Their birthdays are also just one day apart, so I made this scrabble board cake for their birthdays. The cake is vanilla and chocolate and covered in fondant. The trays, bag, pencil and pad are made of fondant. Each tile was made from melted peanut butter chips. My niece had fun playing with the pieces!
