This was just a very quick and last minute cake I decided to make for a girlfriend's birthday. The martini glass and polka dots are all made out of fondant.

This was for my niece's 5th bday. She loves barbies and wanted her to be all pink. Barbie is sitting on top of a white cake with bavarian cream. She took a very long time to plan out and decorate. I put her dress on top of the bottom cake and decorated it. I put barbie in last, and as soon as she was all the way down the dress started to crack down the middle! It was horrible. So, I learned the hard way to be sure that the hole for barbie is plenty wide enough or her big hips will crack your cake!
My niece turned 13 and I offered to make her a cake. She wanted something creative and different with pink and turqouise. I was running late and did some "creative" decorations on it! The bottom cake is chocolate with whip cream and strawberries and the top is coconut with whip cream. Both have whip cream frosting.
This was the cake that was one disaster after another. In the end it turned out really well and the lady loved it! She told me to do it in pastel colors and whatever I wanted was fine. Fresh flowers was the easiest way for me to go.
This was for my dad's 60th bday. We had a huge surprise party with casino entertainment. The party was cocktail attire; so I wanted something that looked classy and this is what I came up with. I actually told my dad that I was making a wedding cake and assembled it right in front of him (without the casino decor of course). The cards, poker chips, and ribbon is all real; the plaque is made out of fondant. This is the first cake that I have been 100% happy with!
This was my first flourless chocolate cake. It seemed so gooey that I was sure it was going to taste horrible. The lady it was for loved it so much she paid me more than I asked for!

This was a cake for a grand opening of a pool. The sides of the round are covered in blue fondant, the kids in the pool are cookies, and the fish are swedish fish. The kiddy pool has fish in it which is why I went with a fish theme. It was a huge hit.
