I made this cake for my cousin's hint of yellow bridal shower. I was going for the literal meaning of a bridal shower that is, a bride and a shower but i didn't have enough time to make the shower which was a very good thing! My cousin is having six bridesmaids and one maid of honour so i made the seven miniature bridesmaids to represent them. I made a two tiered cake for her as she will be having cupcakes for her wedding. I used sunflowers to decorate the bottom cake so as to go with the colour theme of the day. Incorporated pink as it is a feminine colour. Butterflies because they were on the wedding invitation. The bridal dress was made with a pyrex bowl and the mannequin's torso was made from sugarpaste. I included a necklace around the neck of the mannequin.
This cake was made for a friend's baby shower.
