Jungle Smash Cake
I did this cake for a customer who wanted a smash cake for her 1 year old's birthday. She wanted a jungle cake with monkeys. I've never done animals before, so it was a bit of a stretch for me, but I learned a lot. The most fun was making the bananas- especially the peeled one. Thanks to all of you cc'ers for the inspirations for my jungle cake!

Be My Valentine
This cake was for a valentine banquet- white cake with raspberry filling. I painted the backround with food coloring, added my fondant flowers, then continued painting more details in and around the flowers to look like foliage in the backround. The result is a cake that sort of resembles hand painted china.

Have A Heart- Valentine Cookies
I did a little experimenting and playing around with fondant and food color painting. I painted the backround with food color, then added flowers, then touched up with more food color. Although miniature roses can be a challenge, and these cookies were "labor intensive" they were pure fun.

Pattern For Lace Butterfly
Cut out several pieces of wax paper, the size of a butterfly wing. Place wax paper over a pattern and trace over it with royal icing. If you didn't get it on evenly or there are bare spots in the coverage, you can go over it again and reinforce the lace. Wait for butterfly to dry, then carefully remove butterfly by peeling back wax paper. Make extra, as they break easily.
