Chocolate Bed Cake
I used a chocolate mold for the cradle, you may find the mold at sugar (online store) craft. I used warm chocolate to glue the pieces together. I have also used royal icing instead of chocolate and gum paste ( tylose recipe). When not using chocolate allow enough time for the cradle/bed to dry....up to 3 to 5 days.

I molded this horse to put on my daughters b-day cake, I took his back tail off to give his hair more curls. He is finished now.......... I just am at a lose as to how he is going to stand on his own legs. I did not make his front legs longer enough. I think I will let him lean on a small hill or rocks.

Cookie Wreath
I made the pine cones by making a tear drop shapes and cutting that with a small pair of scissors. I used patch work cutters for the snow flakes. Boy, I have had a hard time using the patch work cutters. I have no problem embrossing, but when it comes to cutting the mexican paste (I read mexican paste works best) thats when I get a major headache!!! Mexican paste is similar to home made gum paste.

Flaming Skull
I made this for a young mans birthday ( he was turning 17). It is a american butter cake with chocolate ghanche. I used two 7 oz hersey candy bars with 1 cup of sour cream and confect sugar to make the ganache. The skull is made from color flow. I was so rushed for the skull to dry that I had the heat lamp way too close, but my kids liked the look :-).
