This cake was made for a Volunteer Fireman's Banquet. Got the idea from someone here on CC.
This cake was a replica of a camp that a family owed on a lake. The camp is made out of gumpaste (I actually got the template from a website for gingerbread houses), dock made out of pretzel rods and a Hershey Bar. Also on the cake is the family Jet-Ski and some loons.
Handy Manny Cake
This cake was for my nephew. Handy and his pals were a PITA to make, if you know what I mean. Lots of little peices of fondant. YIKES!!
Dallas Cowboys B-Day
This is the first time I covered a cake with ganache and then fondant. I was not super impressed with it...........guess I should try again.

National Honor Society Cake
I know this isn't a Back to School cake...but it was for a school. The light blue and yellow roses represent the colors of NHS. This cake was (2) 12 x 18 put side by side....it was VERY HEAVY
This was for a lady who was retiring and some of the things she enjoyed (wine, spa and theatre tickets)

This cake was meant to look like a smaller version of their wedding cake from 25 years ago
This was meant to be a joke for a girl turning 50. I think it turned out really well. I also tinted my batter to be pink.
Purple Wedding Cake
This is a really small wedding cake for a couple that had a very small wedding...only 50 guests....and it was "quickie"
