This is my son's 2nd birthday cake. The cake is covered in MMF (Rhonda's ultimate) with gumpaste hat and measuring tape. I formed the hat over a little baseball hat we got icecream in at a baseball game. I painted the numbers on the measuring tape using black color gel. The little screws that are all over the cake are also gumpaste, painted silver with the silver dust mixed with vodka. The bolts that spell out his name are painted the same way, and stuck to lollipop sticks.
