Another view of the pillow cake that I made for a coworkers birthday. Placed a princess crown on top. Cake was cut from a 8" square, almond cream cheese pound cake, with almond buttercream filling...topped with fondant. First time using fondant to cover the whole cake, also the first time shaping my own cake. THANKS FOR ALL OF THE GREAT IDEAS LADIES!!
I made this cake for a co-worker of mine (who loves shoes). 1st attempt at doing a topsy turvy. Almond - Buttercream frosting over a red-velvet cake. Fondant circles and stripes (1st time working at all with fondant as well).
