This cake was for my best friends son's first birthday. I stared really late and I didn't give the royal icing elmo enough time to dry, so I had to do another one 2 hours before the party. I did the second elmo on a transparency and transfered it to the cake while it was still wet. I definatley learned a lesson and will start earlier next time!!
A cake for a 9th birthday party. I made goal posts, but forgot to take a picture with them on the cake.
This was my first attempt at a decorated cake. I used a faux fondant/buttercream icing, which I wasn't happy with (it cracked very easily). The blocks are coverd in fondant.
