Easter Cross Cake
I made this cake for Easter dessert. Freehand cut on the cross. So disappointed in the buttercream around the border. Came out great on the practice board, then just sort of "melted" into the cake edges. Cake had been cool for a couple of hours, so I don't get it. So much to learn... Colored coconut for sky and grass, "glued" the peeps and jellybeans with frosting. Also, anyone else besides me gettin like really horrible back pains from this hobby? Just curious... TFL

Faith's Cake #2
Hello. I posted the top layer earlier, but I am FINALLY through with the decorating. Wow, this is fun to do but SO much work! I love it, though! I really have to give all of you A LOT of credit; I have no idea how you get your cakes so perfect!! The butterfly on the top layer is fondant impressed from a candy mold. The pink fondant on the bottom layer is strawberry mmf. TFL!

Faith's 5Th Birthday
Hello, fellow cc'ers! I have been wanting to try my hand at this for a while now! I am so glad I finally have! My sweet niece Faith just turned 5, but she is going to be at Disney World to celebrate! When she gets back, we will be having a party with her, so this is my practice cake. Just a boxed confetti cake decorated with Wilton fondant. Will be trying MMF for the actual cake :) TFL!
