Alternating chocolate and marble cake. Chocolate filling with buttercream icing. Fondant covered, orange, pink, green fondant flowers, chocolate fondant circles and polka dots. The birthday girl wanted a retro feeling. She couldn't articulate what that meant exactly... so I created what I thought was a fun retro fabric feeling. She loved it!
3-D Baby Monkey Cake. This picture was taken before the finishing ribbon was applied to the fondant covered base. This little monkey is almost as cute as the one year old little monkey who got to eat him.
