Shhhhhh..babys Sleeping

The Baby, diaper, hat, binky and blanket that the baby is clutching are all made from fondant .. The smaller elements such as the white bottle , yellow ducky , ribbons and flowers are made of gumpaste ...the blanket the baby is clutching is textured to look like the texture on the "blanket" its laying on as well .The ribbon,trim and flowers on the ribbon and around the corners are all made of gumpaste as well ..the cake itself was a 2 layer ..one vanilla and one chocolate so that in case someone couldnt have chocolate or didnt like it they had a choice. Everyone seemed to enjoy it and didnt want to cut the cake and mess the baby up...so I carefully took a spatula and removed the baby and small blanket off and plated them so they could be wrapped for the "mommy to be " to keep . She was thrilled with it so thats all that mattered .
