I made this trombone cake for my nieces open house. She played the trombone in the high school band..Alot of gumpaste for the trombone..all edible,case and all. Edible prints etc...
Made 27 of these for a family cookout....they were a big hit...and quite time consuming, expecially if you make the carrier , tissue, and fry holders....always wanted to try it tho....now i can say i did!!!

This cake was made for our 9yr old grandson...his grandpa helped!! We had a digital frame on top playing his wrestling matches and medals and blinking lights across the front. The belt had KWF the name for his "club" and edible prints on sugar cookies...Sam and his friends loved it and couldnt believe they could eat it all...The cake was yellow and chocolate layered with chocolate chip cookie.

I made 5 "hats" full of cookie bouquets for a little boy celebrating his 1st birthday...he was born on St. Patricks Day....his mom wanted them for table centerpieces.Loved wilton color flow and had a bad experience with royal icing!!!
This cake was made for my granddaughters 12th birthday..top layer chocolate and bottom layer yellow.....both layered with chocolate cookie. Also made some cake balls to go along with it

Ducks made from chocolate molds,Barrel made from lining a cupcake tin with chocolate, filled with same mixture that is in cake balls, topped with chocolate water and fondant bubbles. Placed on a sugar cookie topped with fondant , wash cloth, soap and more bubbles. These were just a thought i had and couldnt wait to see how they looked ...Thought they would be good as shower favors or dessert. Fun to make.
Thanks to PinkLady cakes for the idea for this cake...fondant covered, the train was sculpted in rkt by my husband while i did the cake ..fun to do...plus a few sugar cookies for the birthday boy covered in fondant.

My first try at a basket...leaves and basket are fondant, pumpkins are chocolate,acorns are kisses and fondant...I love this time of year so this cake was a joy to make.
