Hugs Stitches First Birthday Cake
This was such a cute cake to do, but I went through the same problem with the icing and it has NEVER happened before! It was so frustrating. I used the Crusting Cream Cheese recipe I've always used, but this time it flat out refused to crust! Fondant butterflies, bees, ladybugs, and the name banner.

Ariel The Little Mermaid Cake
Didn't come out quite like I wanted, the humidity was unreal, it's been raining here everyday for a month, so I had to keep making sure the icing would not slide off! This was done with Crusting Cream Cheese, which I never have had problems with before, could it have been the new shortening?? Fondant stars and shells, luster dusted.

You're A Star Cake
This cake was made for my daughters Staff Appreciation luncheon. The theme was Hollywood. The frosting is the White as Snow buttercream and I used the Melvira Method to smooth it, worked better than anything!!! Used luster dusted fondant stars and the "red carpet" is made of fondant too.
