This was my first 3D cake. I borrowed the idea from a Publix bakery. I thought they were way overpriced on what they were asking for this cake. SO, I decided to try my hand at it. It turned out better than what I thought it would. His body is two circle cake pans cut in half. The feet and tail are shaped from the discarded cake pieces. His head and feet are all buttercream. My son and family loved it.
