Ben 10 Omnitrix
Cakes for two brothers who both love Ben 10. Two 6" rounds, one chocolate and one vanilla - each brother has his favourite alien, so had them emerge from the omnitrix. I saw this idea on the web - I forget where, but thank you to that person for the inspiration. Figures were hand moulded with fondant, strengthened with tylose.

Fairy Toadstool
I just loved doing this cake. First time doing it and my first little fairy. I just adored her. You might not notice this, but there is lustre dust on everything - top of toadstools and the fairy's little dress. Also everything was sprinkled with loads of edible glitter. It was a total hit at the party - the birthday girl's mom had to forcefully remove the big kids from around the cake so that the little ones could get a peak.

Marie From Disney's Aristocats
Made this cake for a 2nd birthday. Cake had to feed 60+ guests! Well, this was a number of firsts for me: first time to make a cake to feed so many, first time to cover a cake in fondant and first time to produce a tiered cake!! Well, the Mom was over the moon with the cake and so was the birthday girl.

My Little Pony
My first ever attempt at decorating/tiering a cake. Done for my daughter's 3rd birthday. She decided 3 days before the party that it should be a "My Little Pony Cake" so I didn't get a chance to attempt sculpting a little pony. Thus, the toy at the top of the cake. Buttercream with fondant accents.
