Christening Cake

Christening Cake

I made this cake for my nieces Christening. I used vanilla cake on the bottom tier with vanilla buttercream and vanilla mousse filling. The top tier was vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and mini chocolate chips with hershey syrup swirled through and it was filled with strawberry. I covered both tiers with vanilla fondant and made "ribbon" roses and leaves out of tinted fondant. I used a Precious Moments as the cake topper and surrounded it with the roses as well.

Hole In One.. Almost

Hole In One.. Almost

This is the cake I made for Father's Day this year. We had a BBQ and all the dad's present were avid golfers. It was yellow cake with vanilla buttercream icing. It was filled with fresh strawberries and chocolate pudding. The golf ball was made out of fondant. It was a big hit.

Baby Shower

Baby Shower

This was my first attempt baby shower cake. The cake is chocolate with a chocolate almond mousse filling, and pink buttercream. It is decorated with all white chocolate baby items such as baby blocks, rubber ducks and safety pins. It was a little time consuming but the mother-to-be loved it as did all the guests. It was fun to make.
