This was a chocolate cake and the barn and silo is a yellow cake. All of the farm animals are made from fondant. I couldn't figure out what to do around the side and my mom suggested the sky which worked prefectly because it matched the plates.
This is just a plain and simple anniversary cake. The cake is white with lemon curd in the middle to keep the gold theme going. If I could do this cake over again I definately would not put the gold glitter around the bottom it just took away from the cake. The lady who ordered the cake loved the dots/balls around the bottom because she thought that they looked like pearls.
This cake was made for a lady who was retiring and she loved to play bingo. I made a figuring of her playing bingo, a table, and a chair all out of fondant. Then I turned M&Ms into bingo balls. She absoutely loved it.
This was my first wedding cake and I was very excited to be asked to make something so big and special for my cousin. The cake is a white cake with raspberry jam between some layers and key lime curd between other, to go with the wedding colors.. All decorations on the cake are white but I added white glitter to accent the designs,so in the sun light it really shined. The cake set on a silver stand, in front of an arch way, and then all around the cake on the table I had lit candles! It was So Pretty!!!
This cake was made for my niece who loves Mickey Mouse. I created the clubhouse by looking at a picture. I thought that the fence archway was a prefect place to put her name and how old she was.. The swing was made from candy canes, licorice, and fondant. The best part was seeing my nieces face when she saw the cake!
