Had such fun making this pirate birthday cake for my grandson. He ask for a ship, pirate people and a volcano with "vines"! And could not wait to play with the pirate set! Great 6 year old fun time!! Used buttercream frosting, vanilla wafers for the sand, pretzels, frosting and green coconut for trees.

The groom wanted a tractor on his cake. Bride and Groom are frondant and gumpaste on hay bale( RKB) Chocolate cake with nutella frosting and nutella creme filling. Groom cake goes with my sunflower wedding cake.

Thanks to Love2Create here on CC for the inspiration when my grandson wanted a bat cake for his birthday. Wings and ears are foam glitter paper. Yellow and orange are fondant, lettering is sugar paper. Used Wilton ball pan, both large and small. Buttercream frosting also.

Thanks to all on this site whose wonderful ideas always help me! These were for a church wedding shower. Different kinds of cupcakes were made for the guests and these were used for the top of the display. Used black fand white fondant on chocolate cake
10" round cake, BBC frosting with sugar paper accents from Wilton. Made candy suckers for the top and used a covered piece of styofoam with fondant to hold the suckers. Was fun to try the sugar paper for the first time.
I made this cake for our Church Youth Friendship Banquet & their annual cake auction. It brought $260 for their mission trip. Chocolate cake, white bc icing and pink MMF. Trees are ice cream cones with bc icing and snow is royal icing. Idea from a Wilton book. Have always admired this cake and now with the help of this site and the MMF recipes it was a lot easier. Sleigh is a suar cookie and royal icing to hold together and decorate. Thanks for looking!
Made this for my daughter's 40th birthday. Was so much fun and thanks to those on this site who made zebra cakes much easier! Chocolate cake with bc frosting. Made the very easy black fondant from this site....thanks a bunch! Thought my zebra cake was original till I looked on this site and as always a great place to find more than enough ideas to use.
Made this for a little 5 year old who really likes the movie "Tangled" and the color purple! It was fun! Used Wilton doll cake pan, chocolate cake, dark purple is fondant with light purple buttercream frosting. Use real doll so set the skirt cake on another 9x13 cake to add more height.
thanks to all the wonderful cakes on this site I was able to make this for my new to be grandson's baby shower. Farm & silo, thanks to Wilton books, first time making the fondant animals and tractor. Candy pigs in "mud" with ducks and cows. Was so much fun to make.
