Aerosmith Cake
My customer requested an Aerosmith themed cake...she wanted the logo standing up on top and some of the lyrics to Sweet Emotion written on the cake. I hope she'll be pleased. Man, sure wish my Cake Cricut would have been delivered by now, sure would have come in handy for that logo!! I used my clay gun and cut each piece to make the logo. The "flames" are leaves and I used my small scisors to make cuts on the sides. TFL!!

Golf Bag Cake
Designed for a couples wedding shower. This couple LOVES golf! My customer didn't want any names or initials, just something to do with golf so this is the design I came up with. I got my inspiration from Susan Carberry's golf bag cake she has on her website. Mine was carved from a two 11x17 cakes, covered in buttercream then fondant. TFL!!

Ut/dog/bud Light Bridal Shower Cake ;-)
My friend was having a "Couple's Party" for their soon-to-be Bride and Groom friends. The couple loves University of TN, their 3 dogs and Bud Light...not sure in what order ;-) . So I designed a cake that I "hope" resembles a Tailgate Party. Thanks for looking!

Tea Pot Birthday Cake
I sure had a tough time with this cake...it's not really what I envisioned but I hope my customer likes it anyway. The tea pot is made from the Wilton Sports Ball pan, the cups are the Mini Wonder Mold pan and the bottom is 2 layer 9x13. Vanilla/Almond cake with Buttercream then covered in fondant. The cake design matches the little girls birthday invitation. The name "chacha" is her nickname. TFL!

Karate Birthday Cake
Made this cake to match a badge the young man won in his Karate Class....at least the top layer matches :-) The red layer is supposed to resemble the mats they use for practicing and finally the fondant figure is the young man. Vanilla/almond cake with buttercream frosting and fondant decorations. TFL!

Golf And Beer Cake
This is similar to a design I've done before but this time my customer wanted the golfer to have a club in one hand a beer can in the other...then I scattered a few more beer cans around the green :-) 8" & 6" tiers, chocolate fudge with buttercream and fondant accents. I think they really liked it because "Doug" said "Wow, you've seen me play golf" :-) TFL!

Birthday Cake For A King??
My customer has an inside joke with the recipient of this cake. He asked for an image of the person with a crown, an apron and the name BOBO somewhere on the cake. Since I'm not good at buttercream transfers, I decided to do a fondant figure instead. I don't know what the inside joke is but I hope they like my version of it :-)

Ella's First Birthday (Lady Bug)
This design was inspried by "Fantasticakes" Lady Bug Cake (Thanks for your help Cécile!) My customer wanted Lime Green and Hot Pink to match her daughters dress and party decorations. Vanilla/Almond 10' & 8' cake tiers. The lady bug body was cut from a 7 1/2 inch oval pan and head is fondant. TFL!!!

Bachlorette Party Cake
I made this cake to match the invitation. The box is 3 layers of vanilla/almond cake and the lid is styrofoam. (My customer only had 10 people at the party so I didn't want to make the cake too big). The corset and panties are laying on a thin layer of white fondant painted with luster dust to resemble satin paper but I don't think the photo captured it very well. TFL!

Unniversity Of Tn Birthday Cake
This cake really gave me some trouble...after completely decorating it, it looked awful and I had to scrape all the icing off and start over. It was for a girl who was turning 21, goes to the unniversity of TN and is in a sorority there. Written around the cake is "Happy Birthday Emily". This was cake #5 for the weekend...whew, glad that's done!

Computer Cake
This was for my step-daughter's Sweet 16 birthday cake. It's a computer on a desk surrounded with a few of her favorite things: Bagel Bites, IPOD, Cell Phone and of course her Drivers License and keys. I made the "screen" in Adobe Illustrator with comments from her favorite celebrities. :-) ( I blurred her picture for this upload but on the actual cake, her picture is clear)

Halloween Pumpkin
Three 8" layers stacked, carved and covered in fondant. Top piece is also an 8" cake that's been carved to size. I tinted the fondant orange but also airbrushed to give it more depth. There's a small glass bowl in the pumpkin with dry ice to give it a steamy effect :-) Thanks for looking!

Mother And Baby Cake
I made this cake for a friend as a surprise. She has a little girl name Ella (this is her first child) and I made this cake to surprise her...it's just a Happy Day cake..no special occasion. The figures are supposed to resemble my friend and her baby. The figures were created using Lorraine McKay's tutorial. This is my 2nd one so I still have some practicing to do but overall I was pleased with it. :-) And I'm happy to say, my friend loved it :-)

Mermaid Birthday Cake
My customer requested a mermaid themed cake with the mermaid resembling her daughter. She also asked for Sebastain and Flounder but it's been so long since I've seen that movie, I'm not sure I got them right. The mermaid is my first attempt of this style, it needs some work but I think it turned out pretty good. I got the cake design idea from CC Member -gourmettiger..thanks for the inspiration and thanks for looking!

Hollywood Birthday Cake
My customer wanted a hot pink & lime green cake with a Hollywood theme for her sister's 40th birthday. Using some inspiration from pics I got on this website (Thanks everybody) this is what I came up with. It was also the largest cake I've made yet...60 servings. The tiers were strawberry/vanilla/strawberry with vanilla icing covered in fondant and with fondant accents. This was also the first time I used my funky letter cutters..I LOVE them! TFL!!

Beach Themed Cake
I made this cake for a local business...they were having a "Beach Themed" event today. (I have to give credit, the design is from Susan Carberry) White cake with vanilla frosting then covered in fondant. The sand made of graham cracker crumbs/brown & white sugar. I didn't dowel the cake and now looking at it, I realize I should have..the top layer squished the bottom layer. Oh well...at least it didn't fall over :-)
