I made this for the grand opening of the library where I work. It isn't perfect by any means, but they all loved it. It was three 11x15 double layer sheet cakes. Lemon with lemon filling, yellow with strawberry filling, and chocolate with cookies and cream.
One of the volunteers at the library where I work turned 80 on Monday. I used a Debbie Brown design and added the Orioles hat because the birthday girl is a huge fan.
For my son's third birthday. He loves frogs and cars. I don't think he is going to let us eat it. "Mama, that frog is my friend" he says.
This cake was one problem after another. Chocolate icing wouldn't smooth, fondant cracked, I couldn't get it level. It is for a good friend. I hope she likes it anyway.
Made with the wondermold pan. Fondant with ice cream cones for horns. I tried making the horns from Rice Krispie treats, but I couldn't get them to look right, so I went this route.

For a neighborhood baby shower today. I was told that the nursery had elephants and that they didn't want the cake to be babyish. I think it would be a nice birthday cake also.

14", 10" and 6" tiers. Fresh roses and lavendar.We baked the cakes in NY, froze them and took them on the plane to ID where we decorated and assembled. It isn't perfect, but we had no major disasters and the bride(my niece) and groom were pleased.

This is the actual size of the top, 6". The bride wants champagne colored swirls and a ribbon on the bottom. I don't have her ribbon yet, so I just improvised. Do the swirls look champagne colored to you? The actual cake will be topped with fresh red roses and lavendar.
This is the cake that I made for my son's first birthday. He is now 2 1/2. There are a few things that I would do differently, but I liked the way it turned out.
This is my first cake in a couple of years, my first wedding cake and the first time I have used MMF. The decorations are buttercream and it was too stiff, so they aren't so good, but it's just practice, right? Please give me some honest feedback, I really need to get this right before the real thing in July.
