Safari Jungle Baby Shower

Baby shower cake I made for my best friends baby shower. Cake is blackberry vanilla, made with fresh blackberries & blackberry cream filling. Buttercream fondant tinted brown (not chocolate) smoothed w/ the viva faux fondant technique. Boarder is BC leaves with tip 352. All animals are Fisher Price Little People toys except the monkey. The set did not have a monkey so I made him out of fondant/gumpaste mix.

Cookie Monster Cake

This was a baby shower cake for my cousin who wanted cookie monster. We couldn't find a cookie monster pan so we improvised with a stand up bear. All icing is BC and Hershey kisses were added to make the base cake look like a giant cookie.

Carebears Cake

I did this as a shower cake for a friend at work. She was doing a care bears theme for the nursery but I couldn't find anything that was care bears for babies so I made my own. Chocolate & white cakes w/ BC icing. Care bears are cutout cardstock on toothpicks. Rainbow & sun are colorflow. The stars are sugar cookies w/ flowed icing.
