Super Mario World

Made this for my son's 5th birthday. Entire cake is covered MMF, figures are fondant/gum paste. Flag is gum paste wrapped around a wooden dowel that was spray-painted with the edible silver shimmer spray. This was my first attempt at making humanoids on a cake! They are all wearing roller skates, since he had a skating party. After a few minutes of having the cake set up, Mario fell off the back and broke his neck.. and arm, and back... So we placed his head coming out of the pipe! It ended up looking pretty cool anyway! Thanks for looking!

Winter Wonderland

Made this for office party. Used the tree cookie cutter set available with green sugar cookies. Vanilla buttercream iced on each cookie to adhere them together. Tree stand is RKT, little presents are fondant, and Icicles are buttercream. Cake was chocolate with peppermint buttercream filling. dusted entire cake and tree with confectioner's sugar for the snow effect.

Bridal Shower Cake

Made this for a bridal luncheon. Cake was French vanilla with buttercream icing. Buttercream roses and pearls.

Clown Cake

Cake was chocolate with chocolate buttercream icing, buttercream polka-dots, and buttercream clown bodies. Plastic clown heads placed on bodies. This was one of the cakes I did in the Wilton class
