Cat In A Paper Bag
I shamelessly imitated Wendl's wonderful "Kitteh Gonna Get Ya!" cake ( http://www.cakecentral.com/cake-photo_1194009.html ). Hers is much cuter! This cake was really easy to do. Thanks, Wendl, for giving me a cute but relatively painless cake idea. I needed it - my son had a fever the two days leading up to his birthday, and so I had to throw it together in a major hurry. Hooray for Fondarific - I didn't have enough time to make my own fondant this time! :)

Shark Cake
Made this cake for my son's 5th birthday. Used the Wilton footbal pan, rolled fondant with gumpaste added for the fins, rolled fondant for the rest, and the durable chocolate cake recipe from heartsfire ( http://cakecentral.com/recipes/6093/durable-cake-for-3d-in-chocolate ). Delicious cake, by the way - thick as pound cake, and so tasty!

Lego Batman Cake
I made this cake for my son's sixth birthday, at his request - he loves the Lego Batman game on the Wii. I used MMF to cover the cake and the legos (rice crispy treats), bit it was too soft for Batman and Robin - they kept collapsing and their edges were all squishy. I had to buy a package of Wilton's rolled fondant at the last minute and sculpt them out of that. Next time I'll just make the figures out of gumpaste!
