My daughter's 3rd bday cake. 3 layer cake ( layers are lemon, red velvet, and chocolate) with strawberry cream filling. Foofa is made out of rkt and covered in fondant. Then red velvet cupcakes with whipped cream topping and fondant daisies and the baby cupcakes have a small m&m on each for color.
My god daughter's 1st birthday was candy themed plus her dress was white with large colored polka dots so I made this cake to match both.
Made this for my nephew. Just did my best to hand draw the logo. Turned out ok I guess for doing at 4am, lol. He was happy and that is what makes me happy. Worth every minute of sleep I lost! lol
20 mini cakes covered in satin ice fondant with chocolate letters on each. The corners were very dificult to smooth since the molds were square but it was my first time so I expect to get better at it :)
Hulk is made out of fondant. I molded him piece by piece and then added the details by accentuating with a brush and food coloring. Bldg is 9 layers carved. I used pastry pride but next time I would go with buttercream as the pastry pride was melting.
Used whipped icing for the decoration as it's a favorite in the family. It was for my nephew's 1st communion. It turned out to be very large but everyone loved it.
Made this cake for my son's 4th birthday. Used buttercream for the frosting. It was actually a Reese's peanut butter cake, after his name and the cake was chocolate and the filling was peanut butter mixed with whipped cream and reese's pieces mixed in. Very sweet but a big hit!
I made this cake for my nephew's birthday. I actually found the intructions for this somewhere online just searched spongebob and I was very happy with how it cake out. Uses many candy such as fruit rollup for the tie and hohos for the leggs, etc
It was my cousin's 24th birthday and I chose to make him a beer cake shapped in the form of a corona bottle. I used actual corona in the batter and then carved it to look like the bottle. Used whipped icing and bananas in the center. The decorations are all with whiiped icing.
It was best friend's 2 year princess party. I used the Wilton Castle set and Pastry pride whipped icing as I like the taste better. It was a marble cake with banana and hazelnut spread in the center. I used buttercream for the smaller decorations such as window flowers and door and wondow outlining.
It was my brother in law's birthday and he is a big 49er fan. Used Pastry Pride to coat and Color Flow for the emblem on top. The red was really hard to get so rich but after using a whole small container of "no taste" red wilton color, I finally got it.
