My first paid wedding cake. I was so nervous! The bride loved it!!! She chosethe ribbon colors and requested simple scrolls with a little sparkle dust for fun. Done in BC with 4 different cake flavors.
Here is the cake I did for my neice's graduation from Michigan State University. Done in the school colors. My neice's only request was for yummy cake that looked amazing - and lots of dragees! I used fondant on the top with fondant decorations and yes, lots and lots of dragees
I made this cake for my son's Buzz Lightyear birthday party. I put his face in the rocket window (blocked out by the star) and he was flying toward a RKT moon covered in MMF. My brother in law actually took the moon home to eat! The cake is covered in BC with fondant planets and stars

My daughter's 2nd birthday cake. Thanks to "mysonshines" for the inspiration. 4 layers, bc icing, gumpaste flowers and a modeling choc fairy. The toadstool is rkt covered in gumpaste. My daughter absolutely loved it!
My first attempt at a chocolate collar for a cake as well as the chocolate curls/cigarettes. It was chocolate fudge cake, filled with a coffee buttercream to cut through some of the chocolate. I frosted in a chocolate buttercream and added the collar made with 4 kinds of chocolate, and the curls made from dark and white chocolate. My husband thought he'd died and gone to chocolate heaven.
My neice is crazy about Disney princesses so I decided to make her a castle cake for her 4th birthday. Her mom's reaction was as priceless as hers! I used two 10"squares, one 9" oval and used a cutter to make circles which I stacked for the towers. The tower roofs are sugar cones coated in buttercream icing. The letters are sugarpaste hearts which I just painted on using food paste and a little icing gel
