Baseball "cup" Cake
This cake was done as a joke for a baseball umpire's birthday. The umpire lost his "cup" on the field during a game and it became a big joke around the sports center. The customer wanted the cake and two dozen cupcakes to go with it. The 'cups' and the infield are fonant and the rest is buttercream. The customer loved it!

Birthday Cupcake Cake
My 1st attempt at a cupcake tower. It was made for a 101 year old lady who was a guest speaker in one of my sign language club meetings. She had lots of history to share with us, including the time she met Hellen Keller! It was an honor to be in her presence let alone be able to present her with a "Cake" I had made!

Yoda Cake
This one was fun but not easy! The body was made from 4-6" round cakes stacked on top of each other and carved on top to look like shoulders. The Head and Ears were made from Rice Krispy Treats with fondant pieces for the cheeks and eye brows then the whole thing was covered in fondant and then accented with more fondant. The body was iced with butter cream and then covered in fondant as well. Arm hands and feet were also fondant.

Wall E Birthday Cake
This was made from a 11x15 one layer cake cut into 4 5-1/2 inch squares (stacked) and the left overs were cut into 2 triangles for the tracks. This could be done with 5 layers of a 6" square pan. The eyes were made with a plastic dow cut to size and covered in gray fondant. Then I hot glued a card board piece cut to size to the top of the dow and placed a small piece of cake carved to the shape of the eyes. Iced in Buttercream with fondant circle for the E.

Spooky 1St Birthday!
This one is my take on an idea from another CC'er. A friend of mine saw it on here and wanted one for her son's first birthday at home! (We did another cake for his first birthday party a couple days afterwards). It turned out to be really cute and she and her family loved it!!! The bottom is a 6" marbled cake with BC icing. The tree is made of Styrofoam with skewers for the branches all covered in royal icing, which is what was also used to attach all the candies that are in the branches.

A Monkey Of A Birthday
2 tiered Lemon Poppyseed cake with BC icing. This customer calls her daughter a monkey so she asked for a monkey themed cake. And thanks to inspiration from another CC'er this was my take on a monkey cake. It is a 6" on top and a 10" on bottom and all decorations are made from fondant.
