Pumpkin Man

Cake from class where we learned how to do colorflow. Then we got to paint whatever we wanted behind our chosen figure. First time painting on cake. Definantly prefer painting on fondant, but it worked out okay.

Yellow Python

One really big cake! Was for a 4yr olds birthday who's really into snakes. Lots of learning experience came out of this. For starters the mother made the frosting and it was not something I'd use again. And we covered the board with wrapping paper and the frosting left grease spots. But overall was really happy with the end result. And the snake guy who came for the party was really impressed. BC with MM's for eyes and a fruit roll-up tounge.

Bye

Co-worker goodbye cake as she left to be a full time mom. Kept it simple because there wan't much more to say other than "Bye". BC with fondant accents.

Work Wedding Shower

Host desperately wanted this "simple" cake. Hadn't been doing cakes very long and this was my first major fondant cake, and first square one. See things I'm not so thrilled with, but she loved it.

Last cake for my class. Had to use techniques we learned in class in incorporate them into a tiered wedding cake of our own design.

Gold Medal cake for a party to celebrate my 65 year old rowing teammate. She won the British Indoor Rowing Championship. All bc.

Mod Monkey Head

Monkey face designed from invites for 1st birthday party. Chocolate bc with fondant accents. There was a matching banana smash cake to go with. Leaves were laminated construction paper designed and made by the kiddo's mom.

Back Of Jungle Birthday Cake

Back of jungle cake done for a first birthday party. Bottom is bc with fondant zebra stripes. Top is bc with stick cookies tree trunks and fondant leaves.

Jungle Birthday Cake

My first big cake I designed myself! Based it off pictures of various jungle cakes I found on this site and others. It was for a combined first birthday party. Bottom is buttercream with fondant zebra stripes. Top is buttercream with cookie and fondant trees. The signs are fondant and the One is a wood cut out covered with painted fondant. The animals are all hand made from fondant.

Rowing Birthday Cake

Made for a rowing teammate's 60th birthday. Basic sheet cake with extras. Dock is made out of cake triming and the rowing scull is made out of fondant. Oars and rigging is candy sticks covered in fondant.
